Bio / Gérard DuBois Born in France in 1968. Studied graphic design at L.E.I. Rue Madame and École Supérieure Estienne, both in Paris. Graduated after five years in 1989, then crossed the Atlantic to live in Montréal, Canada. Since, his work has appeared in major north american publications, among them The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Time, GQ, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker,...; in the visual communication of clients such as Nike, IBM, Nordstom, Microsoft,...; in several illustrated books. His work has been profiled by Print Magazine , Communication Arts, Grafika and l’Actualité. His illustrations have been awarded in major contests for the past 12 years. In 2004 he received a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York, a Gold Medal in 2005 and a silver medal in 2006. His original art has been exhibited in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Montréal, Toronto.
