Wilson McLeanWilson McLean, born in Scotland, began his career in a London silk screen shop at fifteen years of age.  In London, he attended several art schools at night while working on the staff of various magazines.  This exposed him to the work of American illustrators and eventually led to his desire to come to America.  His experience and diligence while working for publishing, advertising and magazines has paid off and he now works for a wide variety of clients.To date he has won every major illustrator’s award in the United States.  His awards include silver and gold medals at the “New York Art Director’s Show”, the Los Angeles “Art Director’s Show” and the “Society of Illustrators’ Show”.  In addition, he won the prestigious “Clio” for television commercials for Eastern Airlines.Wilson’s teaching has included Syracuse University, The School of Visual Arts, Kent State University, and The Savannah College of Art, as well as numerous workshop in colleges throughout the United States.
